About "Oliver"
Oliver in the show ring...
Oliver started out with a bang winning a 4 point major under breeder judge, Mildred Bryant. He was the Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes winner at the Chicago Specialty in June of 1994 under breeder judge, Peggy Beisel McIIlwaine. Oliver also went on to win two, three point majors. Winning one of those three point majors on a specialty weekend. Oliver was a no nonsense dog who much preferred showing himself as to taking direction from his handler. He loved the ring!
He had a beautiful strong head, with nice length of neck. He had excellent angulations front and rear which allowed him to cover ground easily.
He has passed these qualities to his offspring. He bred 16 champions.
Oliver thoughts...
Oliver was a wonderful dog that launched our many successes in the show ring. He continues to influence our breeding program down through generations.
